At Nobel House Decor, we are committed to delivering exceptional interior design services and ensuring complete client satisfaction. We understand that circumstances may change, and this policy outlines our guidelines for refunds, cancellations, and modifications.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order or engaging our services.

Important Notice

Due to the custom and made-to-measure nature of our interior design services, most products are specifically created for your space and cannot be resold. This affects our ability to offer refunds once production or ordering has begun.

The deposit secures your project slot, initiates material ordering, and covers initial design and planning work.

2. Cancellation & Refund Scenarios

SCENARIO A

Cancellation BEFORE Production / Material Order

Timeframe: Within 48 hours of deposit, before materials ordered
Refund: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee

The 10% fee covers:

  • Consultation time
  • Initial design work
  • Administrative processing
SCENARIO B

Cancellation AFTER Materials Ordered / Production Started

Timeframe: After materials ordered or custom production begins
Refund: Deposit NON-REFUNDABLE

Client is responsible for:

  • Full cost of materials already ordered
  • Any custom items already in production
  • Partial refund may be available for unused standard materials (subject to supplier return policies)
SCENARIO C

Cancellation DURING Installation

Timeframe: After installation work has commenced
Refund: NO refund for completed work

Payment required for:

  • All work completed to date
  • All materials delivered and/or installed
  • Materials on-site become client property upon payment
SCENARIO D

Cancellation of COMPLETED Projects

Timeframe: After project completion and client sign-off
Refund: NO refund available

Once you have signed off on the completed project, it indicates acceptance of the work delivered.

3. Service-Specific Policies

Curtains & Blinds

  • All items are made-to-measure
  • Non-refundable once fabric is cut or production begins
  • Fabric samples must be approved before production
  • Minor adjustments included; major changes may incur costs

Flooring

  • Custom-cut flooring is non-refundable
  • Unopened boxes may be returned (15% restocking fee)
  • Installation labor is non-refundable once commenced
  • Subfloor preparation is non-refundable

Gypsum & False Ceiling

  • Non-refundable once materials delivered to site
  • Design approval required before installation
  • Demolition work is non-refundable
  • Post-installation modifications incur charges

Wall Treatments

  • Opened/cut wallpaper is non-refundable
  • Custom mixed paints are non-refundable
  • 3D panels ordered for project are non-refundable
  • Surface preparation is non-refundable

  • 100% non-refundable once production begins
  • Designs must be approved in writing
  • Changes during production incur extra costs
  • Custom items cannot be returned or exchanged

  • Furniture must be in agreed condition
  • Additional repairs may incur extra charges

4. Non-Refundable Items & Services

The following are NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstances:

βœ• 3D visualization and rendering work
βœ• Custom-made or made-to-measure items
βœ• Cut fabrics, wallpapers, or flooring
βœ• Specially ordered materials
βœ• Installed products and materials
βœ• Labor for completed work
βœ• Delivery and transportation fees
βœ• Rush order and after-hours fees

5. Exceptions & Special Circumstances

Defective Products

If materials are found defective upon delivery (before installation):

  • We will replace defective items at no cost, OR
  • Provide full refund for defective items
  • Must be reported within 48 hours with photos

Our Error

If we make a significant error in measurement, production, or installation:

  • We will rectify the error at no additional cost
  • If rectification is not possible, we provide compensation
  • Does not apply to client-provided incorrect information

Force Majeure

In cases of events beyond control (disasters, pandemics, government restrictions):

  • We will work to reschedule or adjust projects
  • Refunds considered on case-by-case basis
  • Ordered materials remain client's responsibility

  • Confirmation of cancellation
  • Refund amount (if applicable)
  • Any outstanding balances due

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days via the original payment method.

7. Refund Processing

Refund Method

  • Refunds issued via same method as original payment
  • Bank transfers: 7-14 business days
  • Cash: Collected from office or delivered (large amounts)

Deductions

All refunds are subject to deduction of:

  • Administrative fees (where applicable)
  • Costs of materials ordered or used
  • Labor costs for work completed
  • Any other costs incurred on your behalf
